Attention Aspiring Voices

To all of the undiscovered voice talent out there, there is a new Voice acting contest being held in the forums for which Bill (Maverick32183) and myself with be helping to judge along with FatKidWitAJetPak (The organizer of the contest.) DYLawryence and yes... Tomamoto

The contest will (in all hopes) be a monthly challenge, this month's challenge being to use this line at the end or beginning of a story that you make up.

"And that's why I don't have my homework"

The prize list is as of yet incomplete however there is talk of trying to get the top 3 winners mentioned in a front page post to promote them and, although it is not yet an official prize, I am offering a GUEST ROLE IN A "SKETCHED" CARTOON to the contest winner... Say whaaaaaaat? Haha, I know it might not be the greatest of prizes, but it's a start.

...In other news, I'm working my head off on the new Sketched so it should be ready for early March, and we are gearing up to work on our super secret project (that's really not that big of a secret).

I will leave you now, with a video my friends made many moons ago in High School that is a personal favorite of Bill (maverick) and myself due to its complete lack of decency.

Hey thanks a lot for dedicating your front page post to this. ;) I have one in a couple of days, so I will mention pretty much the same thing you did.

I hope we get some nice submissions. We already have one REALLY nice one so check out the forums every now and then and listen to the entries. You don't have to review them or anything, I will do that.

Once the deadline hits, I will contact all judges and we will decide who the winner is.

No problem, I had nothing worthwhile of my own to post about anyway. Besides, I've worked up to one a week and that's way more front page coverage than I need.

I'll take a look at the current entries and check back for more as time passes, so just let me know when the deadline is reached.

No problem with the prize, thank YOU for putting up such a sorely needed contest. I'm all for the idea of promoting new voice talent on NG.

Yes, unfortunately we had nothing to do with the cinematic masterpiece that is known to the world as "Slam Dunk Vomit." We actually didn't meet the director until years after this was made and he was already making more high quality yet equally disturbing films.

I'm actually not bad on the voice acting part, but same as some of these poor souls, the lack of a quality mic leaves me empty with nothing left but

I never thought your voice acting was very bad, but the mic thing was a little obvious (doh!) Anyways, hope all is well. Rock on.
