For those who didn't know, we are working on a game called Radventure! It is a comedy Adventure/RPG with a meta twist.

We recently launched a Kickstarter to help raise funds to pay our voice actors and hire some 2d/3d artists to help with production.

I've been wanting to do this for a while, and am finally getting around to it... I've decided to post my entire archive of SKETCHED audio skits in the Audio Portal under the creative commons license, free for anyone to use as they please, no strings attached.

These are fully produced audio skits, many of which have never been animated or seen.

To be honest, we really just love recording these things, and NG has been such an important part of getting our work seen and jump starting our careers almost 20 years ago, so if anyone or there finds them inspirational, decides to animate a clip, or just listens and laughs, it's all worth it.

I've already uploaded a lot of audio, and I'll continue to post more as I find them. Anyone interested can check out my audio page. In the meantime, I'll feature a few of my favorites here...

Hi all!

As some of you may know, we have been working over the past year or so to record more Sketched episodes and at this point have a good amount of audio to work with. Now we have been able to come up with a small budget to produce a full length pilot episode of Sketched!

Sketched, from the moment it started, has always been about experimentation and exploration, so in keeping with that theme, we envision this series being an opportunity to showcase different independent animators with each skit animated in a unique style.

Each skit varies in length from around 4-8 minutes, and we are looking to have 3-4 of them animated (on top of some that we will be animating ourselves). Fully edited audio for each skit will be provided to each animator to produce in their preferred style.

As mentioned in the post title, we are offering to pay for this work. While our budget isn't exactly huge, we recognize more than most in this industry that animation is hard and sometimes arduous work, and we want to at least offer some compensation for your hard work.

Additionally, we want to allow animators to retain the right to showcase their work on any online platform of their choosing and allow them to retain any revenue that work may bring in for themselves. All we ask is that we be given time to shop around the pilot first, and in lieu of a deal, be allowed to release the full pilot online before individual skits are posted.

For those who weren't around... forever ago... we had an improvised sketch comedy series that released regularly called "Sketched". Heck, it even had its own series page.

Well... after a long hiatus we fired up the mics and decided to record some new material. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we decided to make a habit out of it, and now Sketched will be returning as a weekly podcast. Focusing on an audio format will allow us to release three whole skits every week, and show everyone exactly how we come up with ideas and improvise them into fully realized skits on the spot.

We have several episodes ready to go and will be launching the podcast series on Feb 2, 2021!

Rest assured, that doesn't mean Sketched as an animated series is dead. Far from it. While I will still animate some select skits that come out of our weekly sessions, I want to recognize that are FAR more talented animators up and coming on this site and beyond. For that reason...

WE WILL BE RELEASING THE AUDIO FOR EACH AND EVERY SKIT WE RECORD... royalty free, and ready to animate. It's our small way of giving back to a community that helped us to develop as artists over the years.

If by chance anyone does animate one of our skits, be sure to send us a link, and I would even back the idea of it being added to the Sketched series page.
