ComicCon '09...?

Hey everyone,

Some of the Sketched crew and I are making plans and I figured I would see if Newgrounds or any of its users was planning anything for San Diego ComicCon 09 this July.

Right now it's looking like myself and Bill will be joining our friend Karl (a very talented film maker from Massachusetts) wandering the floor on Sunday, July 26. We will most likely be burning and handing out FREE promotional copies of some of our projects including Sketched DVDs complete with extras, outtakes, commentaries and deleted sketches. So be sure to keep an eye out for us if you would like to nab one of those.

The main question here is "What is everyone else in the NG community planning for ComicCon?" if anything at all. Ring in and let me know, and of course I'll provide more details as to our proposed ComicCon adventures as the date nears.

Well the next OFFICIAL episode (a.k.a. the one you are in) won't be out until mid to late may, BUT we do have a kind of mini episode coming out this month.

As far as being 17, that don't mean nothin, just pony up and go... I mean how far from San Diego IS Qrbrbbrlbrll Town?

There should be a good deal of people going ... there always is actually.

I'm going to heavily hype it as we pull into summer. the are running out of tickets faster this year ive noticed. I hope people are actually considering going like now as opposed to later.

I know, I was pissed to find out that Saturday is already sold out. I really wanted to go Saturday and Sunday so I'm calling everyone to see if I can con my way into a Saturday ticket, but odds are I'll only be there on Sunday.

My family and I had started making plans about going to San Diego during the summer, so I could go to Comic Con. However, we are now going to Florida, the state which English travellers are most likely to choose. I wanted to be different, but the decision is final. Too bad for me, but I can at least watch the action by webcam again!

Yeah, arrangements are kinda hard to come by, especially if you don't want to rent a room. I'd help if I could but I'm already invading the home of someone else, haha.

Well, a plane is usually the most accepted mode of travel, but if you want to be a rebel you could hijack a rocket, ride a horse, or steal a car... I hear trains still exist too, I'm not sure if I believe it though. Haha. Best of luck getting there.

Thanks man. Backgrounds have always been the bane of my artistic existence so I'm just happy when it doesn't ruin the picture, having a background that actually ADDS to the picture, well that just makes my day. Haha.

Well... is there any way I can help you with this epsiode you are about to do? I even have my mic set up right now heh.

And QRBRBBRBRLRBL town is in the core of the ice moon of saturn... so its a ways away from San diego.

That episode is actually fully animated. I just need to tweak the effects. I'll definitely keep you in mind for future episodes though.

I guess you DO have a distance to get to San Diego... you'll probably have to take a car.
