Hey everyone, a friend just sent along a holiday cartoon he made and I thought it was pretty damn cool so I figured I'd share it with you guys.

It was an interesting week this week, at least in comparison to my usual home by 6 in bed by 10 lifestyle (hey, I have a busy day, I needs my rest haha).

For starters, the new babies sketch reached 100k views this week, which is quite the milestone for me, so thanks to everyone who watched and reviewed. We've actually had an influx of reviews on all of our movies and I feel bad as I have not been able to respond to all of them (a wall I believe a number of people probably hit at one point or another) but rest assured I do read them all and words of encouragement or kind words of criticism are always appreciated.

Also I had a meeting at Warner Bros. which was fun. It's been almost two years since I've been over there on the lot and I got to visit one of my favorite places in L.A. ...the old Gilmore Girls set. haha. I know it's lame but it's such a serene representation of a perfect town from around the area where I grew up... I love it. It's an old New England set that has been up FOREVER and used in countless productions, so it has since had aspects removed and moved for other productions, but it is still like being in an extremely peaceful town back home... just don't turn around to see the dozens of sound stages, palm trees and large corporate buildings directly behind you haha.

Lastly I went to see Dethklok on friday and I will say they put on an awesome show. I know their tour is over now but I highly recommend seeing them if they ever go on tour again, and I'm not even a huge fan of metal most of the time. The show was just amazingly well produced, with animated music videos and performances playing durring the songs with comedic interludes between them, all around a really great show.

That's about all that's been up around this side of things. We're still debating whether or not we will have time to do a Christmas cartoon this year... but it's a possibility.

I just realized that tomorrow (today for some of you... and everyone who reads this tomorrow) marks one year since the sketched series started with the now (somewhat) infamous "Pregnancy Test" and I thought that was pretty cool.

So I guess I just wanted to say an official thanks to everyone who has supported us over the last year and helped us get from one cartoon to the next (nine in one year with a backlog of 5 or so finished for the coming months) and I hope you guys will continue to stick with us for more sketched episodes in the future as well as a few new projects coming down the pipeline.

I apologize for the shortness of this episode after such a long hiatus, but I think it was a good warm up for our new and improved (although not too much) style of animation.

Comic Con tomorrow (friday) ... not entirely sure what to expect as I went to Wizard World last year and it was kinda a little lame, sorry to say.

I'll be sure to swing by the NG/Behemoth booth and see what's shakin over that way, other than that I have no real plans for the day so if anyone is interested in meeing up and saying hey be sure to keep an eye out for myself and Bill or shoot me a pm ahead of time or something.

In other news, count down ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW till NEW SKETCHED!!! That's right, next week we will begin to unleash the sketched pilot in increments on the internet with new episodes to come in the months to follow.

We actually have a bit too much footage for the pilot (including all skeches already made) so we will in part be basing decisions on what to include (or whether to record more) on your votes and comments, so if you LOVE a particular sketch be sure to vote the hell outa it.

For anyone who cares I figured I would fill you fine people in on what has been happening since I dropped off the face of the earth about a month ago.

We have finished recording the first official "Sketched" episode and with the incomparable founder of the Upright Citizens Brigade comedy troupe, Matt Besser . The sketches have come out hilarious if I do say so myself and we will be sharing them with you fine people via the internet over the following months once animation is finished.

On that note, we are making incredible headway on the animation process itself and as of this weekend should have final animation done on the first round of skits, with the second round to shortly follow.

"All that is fine and dandy," you must be saying, shortly followed by "but when do I get more content." Well, good news on that front as well. With the help of some animation guides from L.A. locals Titmouse studios (of Metalocalypse and Adult Swim fame), 6 Point Harness (Currently animating the Drawn Together movie), and several other very friendly local studios, I have developed a very workable system for animating the Sketched series and have even taught it to Mr. Bill Rinaldi (maverick32183) and he, will be taking over principal animation on our new online exclusive episode of Sketched. This means several good things including the production of online content WHILE we still produce our main content, and an overall speedup in production in general.

Lastly, for anyone planning on attending comic-con, myself and some of the Sketched crew will be touring the floor on Friday with a number of "Sketched" DVDs containing all of the pilot sketches for you to check out before anyone else as well as some extras behind the scenes content... did I mention they will be FREE!? So if yous see us around feel free to pester us and you may be able to get your hands on one.
